Search

You can begin exploring iBistro by initiating a search on the Search/Home page. Once you have viewed results from the selected library, you may have the option to display results from nearby libraries, from the entire Web, or from the best of the Web.

Login

Use the login area to access MyBistro and My Account information.

Search Across Option

Select one of the following search across options before typing your search expression to define the search.

    words or phrase

    author

    title

    subject

    series

    periodical title

Search For Data Well

Type in the search expression that will be used for the search. The search results may be a single catalog record or a list of catalog records.

Search In Option

For multilocation libraries, you can refine your search by choosing a specific library branch from the pull-down menu, or selecting ALL to include all branches in the search.

Switch to Power Search Button

Clicking on the Switch to Power Search button takes you to the Power Search page where you can further refine your initial search.

Search Only Electronic Books Checkbox

To search only offerings of electronic texts, check this box, if available.
